The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds.

Pol Apolinario enters the ring Sunday with a record of 3-3-1.

In addition to the 12-round title fight, the Sunday card includes two international and two local kickboxing matches.

In the co-features, Bheut Kam will face Scottish fighter Stephen Meikle, and Nuon Soriya will take on British fighter Danny Taylor. Both Meikle and Taylor fight out of the RMB Muay Thai club in Thailand.

On the undercard, Les Tuk will take on Phun Sophorn and Sarim Vonthon will face Nuon Phireak.

The event, featuring performances by pop sensations Khemarak Sereymun and Meas Soksophea, marks the return of live boxing to the TV3 weekend schedule.

TV3 dropped its live boxing coverage in 2006 after two years of broadcasting. The station returns now to significantly more crowded airways.
TV5, CTN and Bayon TV each host live boxing programs on the weekend. Between them, the stations show more than 40 fights over Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

“We are going to challenge them head on,” said Ty Ranath, production director at TV3. “And we are going to beat them.”
Headlining its inaugural card with a boxing match, as opposed to a kickboxing bout, was no accident.

“If we just copy the other stations, we cannot win,” Ty Ranath said.

To command the market, TV3 plans to build its fight programming around regular professional boxing matches and international kickboxing bouts.

The station is cooperating with the Cambodian Amateur Boxing Federation to build the ranks of local professional boxing, and it is working with international promoters to reach more foreign fighters.

“Our plan is to host international fights every weekend,” Ty Ranath said, although he conceded that such frequency might prove a challenge. “That is what we want, and we are working with promoters in Thailand to make it happen.”

With no ring of its own, the station will initially host bouts at the Old Stadium on Saturdays only. The tentative time slot is 2pm, which would put them head to head against CTN, although TV3 station managers have yet to decide the optimum schedule time.

At CTN, management said the station would take a wait-and-see approach to TV3’s new programming.

“The weekend is already pretty full with boxing, so I guess they will have to compete with someone,” said Aaron Leverton, a producer at CTN. “But I’d be surprised if they chose to compete directly with us.”

TV3’s foray into professional boxing would not be the first for the sport. In 2007, TV5 tried to convert Bheut Kam, Chey Kosal and Pich Seyha into Western boxers. It quickly became apparent, however, that making the switch would not come as easily as promoters had hoped.

After months of hype, and a few humbling losses, TV5’s plan for professional boxing faded quietly down the memory hole.

The professional prospects for Svay Ratha, who is now training in Vietnam with the Cambodian national amateur team, appear fraught with similar uncertainty.

As an amateur, he has never been more than four rounds. Apolinario has gone eight rounds twice, though he came out on the wrong end of the decision both times.

Fights start at 6pm Sunday, with tickets at 12,000 riels (US$2.88) and 20,000 riels.

Source: Phnom Penh PostReaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-10480311980326150642009-09-03T20:30:00.003+07:002009-09-03T20:35:12.480+07:00Just read and think!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 217px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGAa_0ooS4w_NBWDn9aYea26Is_zXY5FwewvPh2AUfQeivJeAat6YYZ3bieW_ktqvIPV2uGQicVkf-YEnIq2KfDd7metTY49OIoRMDYBGZd7gcOYbKC6RID4SF3BQdVlgJyQCBLlDXGgc/s400/Tompang+eylov-1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5377233958549105890" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 312px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCSCZyggyVCOLOwcWm0AR33U6-cCT0Kaku50pRXJWnLc4ui_igYBWSafsc27tCQ5xxJ3qtCuU4ztkoyiS2hmWCMdQKqLL-IajqK_GhGrDdUaAQNbMeEy4EeIcGlMYhXZEtiJx7ppqzobw/s400/Tompang+eylov-2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5377233966207718354" />Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-19901556800770852442009-06-09T00:55:00.004+07:002009-06-13T22:08:34.477+07:00SEALNet project is coming soon!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 134px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_zb0_3Uw3C2xspv3EUtYwnR8e06t_bZRFW9D5Rgt8mrDtPwWA8Qhf0TEGzSKgZBpkeWJfxouNvsMCx72KPmUkm4hUKCve3nB7-LZSs6VMuBPvuX1ysd5rRseVFPmJZkRm_b7T6F6T2sQ/s400/SmallFlyer.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345019100108420866" />

Dear All,

I am a core team member of SEALNet Project Philippines 2009. SEALNet (Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network) is a non-profit organization based in California and was founded at Stanford in 2004 by a coalition of Stanford students and professional mentors. Our mission is to bring service to Southeast Asia and to promote the spirit of service leadership in the region. On behalf of SEALNet, I am writing to seek your support for our 2-week community service project in Cebu City, the Philippines.

Project Philippines 2009 aims to educate the Cebu City community about the public health implications of gastrointestinal worms. We plan to conduct a variety of health education events targeting both elementary school students as well as their parents and teachers. In addition, we will conduct workshops to equip the local youth with practical leadership and organizational skills. We will also facilitate the local youth in designing and implementing their own projects to address local health issues of their interests. The National Institutes of Health, one of the largest non-profit organizations in the Philippines, kindly agreed to be our local partner. They will facilitate our work on the site and will assist us in ensuring the future sustainability of the projects. Attached with this email are the project details.

Currently, we are seeking sponsorship from various local and international philanthropists to finance our project. We therefore would love to have your support for Project Philippines 2008. Therefore, all your contributions will go directly towards benefiting the children, the local youth, and the community of Cebu City.

More information about SEALNet can be found at www.sealnetonline.org. Contributions of any amount (tax-deductible) would be very much appreciated and you will receive a trip report after the project as well as SEALNet Annual Reports in the future. Please let me know if you would be interested in contributing to our project.

Thank you very much for your kind attention and I look forward to hearing from you.

To donate now, please click here or contact me via 012 77 44 09Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-31064885330449131902009-04-21T18:18:00.002+07:002009-04-21T18:19:37.394+07:00Another poem for Khmer New Year!<img style="display:block; The Chinese New Year is celebrated as the symbol of spring's celebration. In fact in China the Chinese New Year is still called the Spring festival(Chun Jie). It is celebrated after the fall harvest and before the spring planting season. The date of the Chinese New Year is always changing and is dependant on the Chinese calendar. Emperor Huangdi in the year 2637 B.C.E invented the Chinese calendar.

The Chinese calendar is a combined solar/lunar calendar and is somewhat similar to the Chinese calendar. For the purpose of determining the dates of the Chinese New Year some astronomical calculations need to be taken care of. Firstly, we need to determine the dates for the new moon. The new moon is the black moon that is when the moon is in conjunction with the sun.
The date of the new moon is taken as the first day of the new month. Secondly those dates are determined when the sun's longitude is the multiple of 30 degrees. These dates are termed as Principal terms and are used for determining the number of each month.

The Principle term 1 takes place when the sun's longitude is 330 degrees, the 2nd Principle term occurs when the sun's longitude is about 0 degrees. The principle term 3 takes place when the sun's longitude is 30 degrees, the principle term 11 occurs when the sun's longitude is 270 degrees and the principle term 12 occurs when the sun's longitude is 300 degrees.

In Cambodia, many people are celebrating this festival since large number of us are half-blood Chinese. This is one of the most jubilant ocassions in Cambodia. Many people gather their families and visit their relatives; moreover, it is the best time for people to relax and have fun with family! Many people go to various local tourism sites especially Sihanouk ville, Siem Reap (land of history:Angkor) and thousands of beautiful sites in Cambodia. Some (depending on living standard) may go visit oversea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Korea or maybe some other countries. Therefore, the capital, Phnom Penh, is becoming very quite! I may go to a province, yet it is for charity work... So how about all of you? Share fun with me then.... :)

Happy Chinese New Year again!!! Wish you all the best!Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-90351182328041813272009-01-15T23:03:00.004+07:002009-01-15T23:58:29.233+07:00A challenge I am participating!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 230px; height: 232px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjC337espexebyYhyCv5AiH1duUx9_VrmmLJPShtUfWrvbPjawBhI8akaEfL9G_HbYhch1g6tBxar25x6Ltlki2WQ3v6TwW_lD6fqsw4qbDLFNDzRgWflVxho68-V-xOZbLer7bgXMyuZA/s320/ylc_logo.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5291565781647180594" />
Well, a full day participating in a challenge has never been an easy thing! Today is one of the most memorable, challenging and useful days ever in my life which began with 80 competitive shorted list participants in the morning and ended up with only final 16 at night! Some of you may wonder what type of challenge I joined and some may think that what's a tough game! Yeah, it actually was! ( lol, wondering ... ), the challenge I am talking about is Youth Leader Challenge (YLC) season 5! YLC is an innovative reality television show that combines entertainment with valuable learning opportunities for the youth of Cambodia. It was produced and developed by the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the Youth Council of Cambodia (YCC) in 2006. The existence the challenge is a fantastic signal for the future development of this miserable country--Cambodia since Youths are the bamboo of a nation! "Strong Youth, Top Nation".

As I decided to participate in this challenge, I've now reached the last 16 round! It was not that easy to pass each round! As I know, almost 400 people applied this challenge; however, after background selection and an interview, only 80 contestants were accepted! This morning, everyone was invited to participate in the challenge which began since 7am. Meeting many people from really various backgrounds who have their own potentials and talents was a huge opportunity to get to know and learn from one another; The game began with the group work by 16 contestants each. I, fortunately, was in group 4 whose members mostly friendly and knowledgeable. Then all group were asked to form a name and symbol of their group by giving about 10mns to discuss! Everyone started sharing his/her own opinion. After a while, we finally formed the conclusion. My group members' idea were great! We decided to put the name of PEACE which had a hidden meaning P:Participation, E:Encouragement, A:Achievement, Commitment and E:Excellent.

To be continued... quite tired, srrReaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-5379273334806065042009-01-09T22:31:00.002+07:002009-01-09T22:55:58.346+07:00Some phrases for success you should know!Behind me is infinite power.
Before me is endless possibility.
Around me is boundless opportuniny.
Why should I fear?
-Stella stuart

More to improve and fewer to disapprove.
More doers and fewer talkers.
More to say it can be done
and fewer to say it's impossible.
More to inspire others
and fewer to throw cold water on them.
More to get into the thick of things
and fewer to sit on the sidelines.
More to point out what's right
and fewer to point out what's wrong.
More to light a candle
and fewer to curse the darkness.

He who is afraid of doing too much always does too little.

Never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

Success seems to be connected with action. There were many students from 13 various countries including 10 ASEAN nations, China, India and Kazakhstan; we all were divided into 9 groups. Around 7:30am just after breakfast, everyone gathered in the auditorium and took the bus to the sea port in order to go to a island called Paula Urban, if I am not wrong. It was not quite on the bus, all those friendly Singaporeans started standing, despite without balance, and taught everyone to sing and dance a popular song, Singapore Town! This song was ROCK!!! Everyone tried to sing along and dance on the bus… “you could take a little around Singapore town…. Because of Singapore, Singapore! The Heart are BIG and WIDE, we find, ….. ” Time we were learning interesting thing flied really fast, we soon reached the port although not all could remember the song, I believed. Taking about 15mn on ship, we finally reached our destination! WOW, what’s an amazing island!! It was totally fresh at the time… Then we were guided to do our first activity in the camping program which is Mountain Climbing. It was really new to me and many participants, I believe. Many questions came to my brain; can I climb that high? Why I have to climb? Why did such game exist? …. I started thinking, “come on, man! Nothing is impossible, rite? Actually, I don’t have to climb, but I must do it to strengthen my confidence, patience and why not try if everything is safe? ….” Fear, nervousness were my pal at that time, but I must win this, I thought! Such climbing was not easy for such an inexperienced climber like me, hmmm… I climbed only 2 steps, then I failed! However, I was determined to do the 2nd time! I reduced pressure on myself and started to climb. This 2nd time was not as tough as the 1st time! I finally reached the top, what’s a champ ( ha ha, it actually can be seen that many people could do that, yet the champ here just mean that I could win myself, I had improved comparing to the 1st one lol, that was enough ). This is just similar as X game that I used to watch, now I could do it lah… a smile existed Lunch time coming, everyone seemed so tired with such hard game, but why everyone smiled and delighted? Help me answer this question lah… Just after lunch, we continued with many new games. Using brain, tricks, teamwork, leadership skill, the games truly taught us how to work as a team and reminded me a phrase, do NOT care much about the result, only care about the progress!!! Implying that sometimes when you try to focus too much on what the result will be, then you will NOT achieve your targets. The day didn’t end with these stuffs, at night, it was camp fire!!! Surprisingly, it was also the birthday celebrations of 3 participants. Ha ha, I should have had my birthday on that day. It was very nice to do camp fire with a big crowd from many different backgrounds. Everyone was dancing, talking to one another and making new international friends… Fortunately, we were taught to dance some funny songs… Who still remember? Show me lah… Ha ha, Ku ku ka ka… and we walk and we walk all night… It was extremely fun! What’s a great start of this camp!!! Time has never cared about people’s feeling lol, it just ran as quick as possible! Without mercy, it was time to go back! Everyone doesn’t want to stop, but we had to… Backed to RELC… Sleep…

<<-- SEXY SIX -->>Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-35939401721520583432008-12-09T20:33:00.005+07:002008-12-15T00:11:07.829+07:00Yo! Camping in Singapore is FANTASTIC!!!Spending about 3 hours on plane and an 2 hour transit in K.L, Cambodian SYC team with 8 students and a teacher had finally reached the our dream destination at about 4:35pm ( Singapore time ). Once we arrived Changi airport, we were given a great warm welcomed by the hosts. Though we were really late to reach the airport which kept them really hungry (I believe), smiles from those freindly Singaporean were given wholeheartedly, I can see. Then we went to the RELC, Regional Language Centre, which was our hotel. Everything in camping immediately follow that....

To be continuedReaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-34423619991925949132008-12-06T00:09:00.004+07:002008-12-06T00:35:08.535+07:00I am addicted to 2 activities now!<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ3RpchDmFA-OLjjzQQwMYeJl5nOHcX3c8Szr8TqqpCRbcnJZnYemMlnI8lThNpMFOeiYY8jM0uMCsoTWZ_yJec-HdlXY_v3A_VTjGJNf_liwFOhQoMZNiVBsI7THqtgFzx-5JwcEfeGY/s320/Image072.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276356295915817490" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNZlWeZuq4EB3OKLBQbXEtevq_FqIMEjTpx3ul-XGnRY1bpMzEM_YZ6HbLLz0hTOwnW9OosJvT9WHP0KO12DftVzEDOTn3B_9lF4tZPJrTHR4mMGWIBgxGF5wBhU7Kx59buKQO1WQvJrs/s320/Image068.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276356283317922386" />
Well, as the begining of university life is totally free comparing to my previous busy high school life (which usually study about 12 hours per day), I study at school only 14h30mn (10h at RULE and 4h3omn at ACE) per week! That's unbelievable! As this free schedule exists, I recently have a few new habits including spending most of time playing internet, reading Khmer novels and poems. Anyway, I just discover that I really love literature since I also love khmer novels lately! Before I felt like I only love poetry, but who know?? Now I also love novels lol! ha ha I think I should have joined outstanding students in Khmer literature lol, ha ha... just kidding, in case those outstanding students in literature will kich me... However, my schedule will be changed entirely at the begining of next year! I think I may study 11 hours a day with a part time job (if possible) lah...Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-30015592176812382842008-11-23T12:22:00.002+07:002008-11-23T12:50:08.793+07:00Discover my previous poem!<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 226px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir7WvONSvQf1IlfcsJxEi9E6-3GD0nfQSZ7-qG8qeENlLkiDCyw7raa9c4hqgmB0lFKqsaYatLBtxZ7MLtbd8KjJ8zcIMlCzOXzNsN4OeKM4-F1iw05oezbfCEnhAGjMKyV0ZwIi5xw1w/s320/Poem.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271726056565702578" />Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-12478868377948624222008-11-14T14:27:00.006+07:002008-11-14T15:09:29.625+07:00How was your Water Festival 2008 celebration??<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 78px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvUTTd6Xsj6BnULgQxJ0Bb_AcO9qNOGvS0LmewQGOk5_pGkSjmOmPxwSZ40McR7-d2CqUkar3TbttB1SzhDhlnY1IL5ZFEXCPDRttkvaqIk92ULsPibWHO01kfgtkdG-I52W8tTFEgSGc/s320/water-festival-phnom-penh.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268419738371131858" />
Water festival ( we say Bon Om Touk in Khmer ) is one of the biggest festival and the most amazing time for Cambodian citizen especially rural people to be in this wonderful and beautiful capital city, Phnom Penh. This festival is celebrated on November which is at the end of the rainy season, the start of the fishing season, and also the unique natural phenomenon - the flow of the Tonle Sap river changing direction! And not only this, the Cambodia Water Festival also coincides with the full moon of the Buddhist calendar month of Kadeuk, this full moon is traditionally a good omen promising a bountiful harvest.

Many villagers have spent almost a full year preparing their villages boat–aborately and brightly decorated dug out canoes with large eyes on the prows to ward off evil spirits. Every year, during this three-day auspicious occassion, many people coming from various places including rural and even remote area residents in Cambodia come to the capital Phnom Penh to watch the races and cheer all their village boat, which can be up to 20 meters long and contain up to 60 oarsmen, frantically paddling and chanting as the do battle in highly competitive races. The origins of the Water Festival dates back to the powerful navy of King Jayavarman II, the 9th century founder of the great Angkorian Empire, and the main purpose is to make the god of the river happy so he will provide many fish and the rice crop will be plentiful.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 269px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOsxFnG5btaoWaA9BqPI7w7h1EBzXgkNklfTYt8dbmsePAv_qgSAaJyimdYxyP3e6tLhuYQPqpS7kOAYSxdg1DG5OlCLn646yg14qX8ny3d5dGxgcGf52d1GKe__xtBUrhQmk-KcLTldY/s320/181389-cambodia-water-festival.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268420526682922498" />During this time Phnom Penh takes on a carnival atmosphere, and as well as the river banks being lined with exuberant spectators there are also live concerts, hundreds of food stands, games of chance, fair rides, and at night fireworks light up the sky and people dance in the street. However, to me, I spent this great time just as simple as my weekends. I went to Sovanna Shopping centre for two days, first and third, and went to Parkway to play bowling in the second day. It simply because it is too crowded to visit the riverside and firework, even both places I visited during the festival this year are very crowded! However, I enjoy having fun in during this wonderful festival, how about you? Come on, share some fun with me.Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-72559901031110171502008-10-30T20:58:00.003+07:002008-10-30T21:11:45.164+07:00Uh, tired! Yet, Happy!Well, on these consecutive holidays, I've been spending my time doing promotion of the Math book I prepared, and also trying to encourage all Cambodian students to love Mathematics and will to contribute their country by study harder and harder! It's never easy to stay at a place and be asked by many people about many different things, but what I wanna do is sharing ideas and study tips with them! The most hurt event in my life ( serious fail in IMO 2008 ) offered me an idea of creating this Math group, Cambodian Mathematics Generation! I am so sorry that this blog hasn’t been updated for long, it just because I have been too busy with my study and some major exams including 49th IMO, International Mathematical Olympiad, from 13th to 22nd July 2008, in Spain and a recent High School final exam from 4th to 6th August 2008.

After a long flight for about a day, all Cambodian team members finally reach Madrid, Spain on 14th night. During the stay in Spain for about a week, I faced many new things and got both sweet and bitter taste of life.

To begin with what I gain from that, I met many people around the world, even math genius! Furthermore, I made friends with many students from various countries including China, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, both south and North Korea, and many other nations. I have learned a lot from them, and we even share some souvenirs with each other. However, I think I should have made more friends and gotten more email contacts since I don’t think there is another opportunity for me to join next IMO. In addition, everyone was in the party just after the exams and dance together along with many rock songs which was another new taste of life that I had never done before. What’s a surprise thing was football competition, all students were together to compete another competition besides math. Playing sports usually the best way to gather people together and strengthen the friendship between people. Unfortunately, there was not enough for the final match! :(

Regarding my participation on behalf of a Cambodian contestant in 49th IMO in Spain, it was the bittiest experience ever in my life, I know that most people was expecting me getting at least Bronze medal back, but what’s an ashamed performance! I can’t believe that I did such an embarrassing thing, 5pts/42, in my dream goal since I started to focus on outstanding mathematics in the early of 2002... I just let Cambodian mathematics image down! God, I should have done much better! I should have raise up my national prestige! What I learned for 6 years was just a waste in a few seconds! Everything about Math is over to me! Sorry all my friends, teachers, family, supporters and all Cambodian citizens. But I WILL do all my best in the future, I WILL try to keep our national prestige high as possible, I promise.

Though the competition drove me upset for long, but I think this is a huge experience for my life which I must learn from; I believe that this experience will make me stronger in the future! Actually, NO ONE IS PERFECT! And also NO ONE can always be successful! There is a phrase stated that “The most successful person is the person who face failure the most, and be dare to correct it!” Meanwhile, Mr. Honda, who had been considered as one of the most successful person, said his success is only 1% of his try! In this way, to become a successful, he had faced many failures and he had tried to correct his mistakes steps by steps! So I will try to correct my mistakes and join the future competitions.

Well, in order to take part in the development of Cambodian mathematics, I together with students who love mathematics have decided to publish a math book which will be all about the key strategies for solving math problems, especially for outstanding student competitions and Olympiad competition. I think the book will release in about 2 months, we are trying to make it sooner with high quality. Well, we are also working on book’s name; I will appreciate if you leave some suggestions regarding the Name of the book. Actually, my main goal of the publication of the book is to encourage Cambodian students to focus on math and to work hard on it! I strongly believe that new Cambodian Mathematics Generation will win gold medal in Olympiad type competitions both regional and international in a soon future.

Note: If you know other IMO contestants contact, please send those to my email directly, thanks in advanceReaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-54305065588595523472008-07-06T11:03:00.006+07:002008-09-01T13:14:23.100+07:00Here is some fun for u guys!If you guys wanna learn how to say I Love You in many languages, I think the following is helpful...

Cambodian: Bong sralagn oun, my language
Chinese:Wo ai ni, go or nei ( cantonese )
Hindu:Hum Tumhe Pyar Karte Hae
Indonesian:Aku chinta padamu
Japanese: Kimi o aishiteru
Korean:Noolreul sarang hae yo
Thai: Phom rak Khun
Lao: Khoi huk chau
Malay: saya cinta mu
Mongolian:bi chamd hairtai
Nepali:Ma timilai maya garchu
Vietnamese: anh yeu em-akak

How abt Europe?

Croatian:volim te
Czech: miluju te
Dutch:Ik hou van you
English: i love u
French:Je t' aime
German:Ich liebe Dich
Greek:S'agapo
Hawaian:Aloha Wau Ia Oi
Italian:ti amo
Lithuianian - Tav Myliu
Polish:Ja Kocham Ciebie
Russian:Ya vas lyublyu
Slovakian:Lu'Bim Ta
Spanish: Te amo
Swedish:jag alskar dig
Ukrainian:Ya Tebe KahayuReaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539320578714623421.post-89122164784985336942008-05-26T16:54:00.003+07:002008-06-10T18:12:08.969+07:00Cambodia win medal in APMO?When I see the result on Australian website, it suprised me that Cambodian student, Se Dara, Sisowat High School, won a bronze medal in this tough Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad 2008 with 11pts/35. This year competition is considered as a toughest ever in APMO history with a very lower average score comparing to previous years. Notice that this is the first time for Cambodia team to particpate this competition; I strongly believe that cambodia team with 6 contestants ( all selected from grade 12) will perform well in soon coming IMO 2008 in Madrid, Spain.Reaksmeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10808560463086347346noreply@blogger.com1
